When you join us your support is not only your dues, but your experience. Your ideas help us grow and expand our abilities as a group. The club supports not only our repeaters, but the community.
Who is eligible?
While we are a group of licensed Amateur Radio operators, being licensed is not mandatory. If you are planning to become licensed or simply have an interest in Amateur Radio please join us. Only licensed members can vote or become Officers. We encourage our members to also be members of the ARRL but that too is not mandatory.
Joining is easy.

JCARA, Inc. is a tax exempt organization.
On January 26, 2012 we received a letter from the IRS granting us (The Jackson County Amateur Radio Association, Inc.) tax exempt status under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. The effective date of exemption was made retroactive to January 14, 2003. We are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests (donations), devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Internal Revenue code. Contributions to JCARA, Inc. are “TAX DEDUCTIBLE.”
